1. General Terms of Use

Company: Teeeach ApS
Registered in: Denmark
Contact: [email protected]

These General Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Teeeach platform (the "Platform"), operated by Teeeach ApS ("we", "our", "us"). By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, including the applicable Teacher Addendum or Student Addendum based on your role.

1.1 Platform Overview

Teeeach is an online marketplace where teachers can create and sell video-based courses, and students can purchase and stream them. We act as a Merchant of Record (MoR), handling all payments and taxes on behalf of teachers.

1.2 User Accounts

  • You must register for an account to use most features.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You must be 13 years or older to use the platform.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

1.3 Acceptable Use

  • Upload or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing
  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Attempt to disrupt or damage the Platform or another user's experience
  • Circumvent payment or access controls

1.4 Intellectual Property

Teeeach retains all rights to the Platform, branding, and associated software. User-generated content is governed by the Teacher or Student Addenda.

1.5 Content Moderation and Takedowns

We employ automated and manual moderation tools. Content may be removed, and accounts suspended or terminated, if you violate our terms. For copyright complaints, see the Teacher Addendum.

1.6 Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes by posting the updated version on our site. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1.7 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, including but not limited to Danish copyright law. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of or relating to the use of the Platform, these Terms, or any related matter shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Svendborg, Denmark, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

2. Teacher Addendum

Applies to: All users who publish or sell courses on the Platform

2.1 Teacher Role & Responsibilities

You are responsible for uploading original, lawful course content, setting pricing and refund terms, responding to student inquiries, and complying with intellectual property and tax laws. You are an independent content provider.

2.2 Intellectual Property and Licensing

You retain ownership of uploaded content. You grant Teeeach a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Host, store, encode, and stream the content
  • Display and promote it publicly
  • Use excerpts for marketing and testing
  • Transfer or process content through trusted third-party service providers (e.g., Mux) for hosting, encoding, and delivery purposes

Content may be stored and processed by services like Mux.com. This license continues as long as the content is available or required for operational/legal purposes.

2.3 Payments and Fees

Teeeach collects payments and deducts platform fees. Payouts are issued via Stripe. Teeeach handles VAT and invoicing; teachers handle personal income reporting.

2.4 Refunds

You set your refund policy. Teeeach may issue refunds for fraud, tech failures, or violations. Refunds are deducted from your payouts.

2.5 Content Restrictions

  • Illegal, hateful, or pornographic content
  • Content infringing on third-party IP
  • Content promoting violence, terrorism, or misinformation

Teeeach reserves the right to remove any violating content.

2.6 Inactive Courses

Teeeach reserves the right to remove or delete any course that has had no student orders or viewing activity within the past six (6) months. This is necessary due to our pricing model, which is based on a percentage fee of course sales; we do not charge hosting or listing fees. As such, storing and maintaining inactive courses without generating revenue is not financially sustainable for the platform.

2.7 Moderation and Enforcement

Teeeach may:

  • Use signed URLs and video traffic monitoring via Mux
  • Employ automated and manual review
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for violations

2.8 User Reporting

Students may report violations by emailing [email protected]. We review and act promptly.

2.9 Copyright Infringement

To file a complaint, email [email protected] with:

  • Description of your copyrighted work
  • Link to the content
  • Your contact info and signature
  • Statement of good-faith belief and accuracy

Teeeach may remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.

2.10 Termination

Accounts may be suspended or removed for violations. Content may be deleted and payouts withheld during investigation.

3.0 Customer Relationship

By purchasing a course on Teeeach, you acknowledge that you are entering into a customer relationship with both Teeeach ApS and the teacher offering the course. Teeeach facilitates the transaction and delivers access to the course content, but the course itself is created, managed, and supported by the teacher.

You agree that, for the purpose of fulfilling the transaction and providing support, Teeeach may share your relevant personal data — including your name, email address, and course activity — with the teacher responsible for the course you purchased. This data sharing is governed by our Privacy Policy and limited strictly to necessary educational and transactional use by the teacher.

3.1 Course Access

Purchases grant you a non-transferable, personal license to stream content. You may not:

  • Download or redistribute
  • Share access credentials
  • Use content commercially

Access may be removed if a teacher or course is taken down.

3.2 Refunds

Refunds follow the teacher's policy. Teeeach may also grant refunds for fraud, technical issues, or policy violations. Contact [email protected].

3.3 Behavior Standards

  • You must not harass or abuse others
  • You must not circumvent platform security
  • You must not use unauthorized tools or hacks

3.4 Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Teeeach is a marketplace platform and does not create or vet the course content offered by teachers. As such:

  • We do not guarantee that any course will meet your expectations, learning goals, or skill level.
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, or usefulness of any content provided by teachers.
  • We do not verify or endorse claims made by teachers in their course descriptions or materials.
  • We make no warranties that course content will remain available permanently or without interruption.
  • We are not liable for any outcomes (including exam results, professional advancement, or business success) arising from your use of the platform or course materials.

Use of Teeeach is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

3.5 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Data is deleted within 90 days. Refunds are not issued after deletion.
